What is water-owl you may ask. Why, Great Wolf Lodge, of course. I'm sure you had that all figured out already, didn't you? If you've ever been there before or seen a commercial for it, you know that Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor water park with an attached hotel. There are various locations but the one closest to us is in Grapevine and that's where we are headed tomorrow. Imma loves the water park and she'll even go down some of the scarier slides. But her very favorite part is the storybook hour that they do in the evenings. At 9:00, all the children can gather under the clock tower to hear a musical with animatronic animals--including--you guessed it--an owl! Guess which animal is Imma's favorite?!? Although she loves all of the animals, she really does love the owl the most and I can't blame her, what's not to love about the wise old owl?
There are a lot of fun things to do at Great Wolf Lodge besides the water park and story. They also have an amusement park, a bakery, and an ice cream parlor. They will also deliver pizza to your room, which the girls think is awesome. We were actually able to get a pretty good deal on one of the suites this time so I believe the girls will have bunk beds, which I hope they like!
Even though we have now been to Disney World and several other fun, amusement type places, Water-Owl is still Imma's favorite and it probably always will be. What is your child's favorite place to visit? Do they have any cut names for the places they love?
